Curator and Creative Director for FFFRIDAY 2017
FFFRIDAY, organized by Fashion Farm Foundation is a pioneer campaign to unite the local fashion scene and promote independent Hong Kong designer labels. On Fridays, creative events were held to foster recognition of the creativity of Hong Kong fashion, uniting support from global influencers and local creatives to create the phenomenon and raises public awareness. For FFFRIDAY 2017, under the curator’s theme of 90s Retro, A white furry alien ‘F5’ has been created to be the ambassador of the year. One of the most important concept that Eugene has accomplished was to transform fashion show into unconventional hybrid format, ’ FFFRIDAY Presentations’ and was proudly demonstrated through a first-ever Arcade Game Centre fashion show and Fringe club in Central, ‘FFFRIDAY Ambassadors’ Exhibition Party at secret venue, ‘FFFRIDAY Music’ partnering with Yourmum, inviting British band Yellow Days to come and perform at Tower 535 in Causeway Bay.
This project was awarded by 2019 DFA Bronze Award.
